Jose Luis Alvarez Velez is a multidisciplinary Basque artist whose emblem is the phrase by John Stuart Mill referring to "art is an effort towards perfection of execution". Indeed, what he seeks in the creation of his work is that incomparable plastic truth and sensitivity that solve the problem of destruction and death through an inexhaustible aesthetic source. And with this, it reverses the experience on itself to transform it into imagination and art. In short, it is a unique and singular example in the broad artistic spectrum of the 20th and early 21st centuries in Spain.
