About the work

Ghost Town .Kolmanskop, Namibia .

This is a abandoned diamond mining town, which is now a tourist attraction. The buildings are well preserved, especially the wood work .I feel this photograph has so much detail from the footprints on the sand.Paint on the walls and wood is still very visible  .

About the artist

My photography is self taught .I discovered my passion for photography after shipping my Landrover to Namibia. It was a start of a new adventure .I have traveled from Southern Africa to East Africa, camping at various national parks and seeing spectacular landscape and places on my travels .To photograph wildlife in their natural habitat is a thrilling experience .The long days and early morning starts are all worthwhile .

I feel I have lived each photograph .Each photograph was an adventure .
