Merging these platforms in clusters can create megastructures of self-sufficient communities.
Industrial steel constructions are ideally suited for hook up prefab units with different functions.
The three-dimensional structure and the ability to expand the layers at the edges building and connecting with walkways to other platforms, makes a diverse and flexible combination possible.
Not only coastal locations but also locations further out to sea can be used.
The direct presence of seawater can be regarded as an inexhaustible "building physics battery" and can be used
to generate and maintain a manageable microclimate to keep.
The photos of the series "elevation" are evocative of the feeling of the limitless spaciousness, which can be experienced offshore. Elevation depicts also man who feels alienated from the earthly world, lifted to a higher level. Spiritually, but indeed practical in the case of building in the future.
