About the artist

Indigo Sum is a dutch photographer (1995), currently based in Amsterdam. Central to his work is the personal aesthetic interpretation of an artist and the relation to its spectator. His works vary from classic black-and-white photography to large colorful abstract works. All of his digital work is made without the use of Photoshop or filters.

'I believe in the concept of art being best when the end result has come from a personal quest of balancing imperfections with the urge to transcend ourselves through the things we make and less in the quality of art through the relevance of its subject'.
