I do have a name for my new paintings: Abstract Mystical and Symbolic Art.
In fact the enjoying of making them and for all undergoing them in different light circumstances are sort of feed for te brains.
Composing artworks is for me almost a philosophical question. Transferring my thoughts into some kind of metaphoric representations help me to express them through strong and compassing images.
Geert Lemmers studeerde fotografie en fotografische kunst en werkte als freelancer voor het fotograferen van portretten voor tijdschriften en als mode-fotograaf voordat hij zich in 2008 toelegde op zijn artistieke carrière na het winnen van de professionele kunstprijs in zijn regio..
In mei 2017 won hij de ArtPrize Fransisco Goya tijdens de kunstbiënnale Barcelona en in december 2017 werd hij verkozen tot “ ART MASTER " VAN ACCADEMIA ITALIA IN ARTE NEL MONDO ASSOCAZIONE CULTURALE, in Lecce It.
Geert zegt: Het voert te ver om alle exposities, waaraan ik heb deelgenomen te vermelden; elk jaar plan ik 2-3 exposities in Nederland, gewoon en alleen om mijn landgenoten mijn werk [zowel PhotoArt als schilderijen] te kunnen laten zien en hen daarvan te kunnen laten genieten.
Geert wordt in Nederland vertegenwoordigd door een drietal galerieen en in het buitenland o.a. door:
Saatchi art Londen en Los Angeles
Lemon Frame Tel Aviv
Singuart Parijs.
