Henk van de Grift
24. august 2026
Henk van de Grift grew up in the Netherlands navigating hearing loss from early childhood, which turned him toward visual ways of seeing and communicating. By age twelve, drawing became central to his life—pen and pencil never left his side. That commitment to visual expression has only deepened over decades, resulting in work that feels intimate and contemplative. His pieces carry titles that hint at memory, contradiction, and quiet moments of transformation, inviting viewers into a conversation between what's seen and what's felt.
