The wild, child-like energy of the CoBrA movement, in the town where it is collected.
Appel, Constant, Corneille and their northern European colleagues wanted to paint like children again — deliberately raw, bright and unpolished. The museum keeps that energy and pairs it with contemporary artists working in the same spirit.
