Frieze New York 2024: A Sneak Peek

Frieze has shared a first look at the 2024 edition of Frieze New York, which runs this year from May 1–5. Located once again at The Shed, the fair will include more than 60 galleries spanning 25 countries. Frieze New York will also celebrate the city as a cultural capital and leader of the international art market, with activations that include collaborative projects with some of the city’s significant non-profit arts organizations. Tickets to the fair are available now.

The 2024 lineup features strong representation from New York-based galleries, with more than half of this year’s participants operating a space in the city. Notable exhibitors include:

Focus Section

Frieze’s highly regarded section for young galleries features 11 exhibitors at Frieze New York 2024, each showing solo presentations by emerging or under-appreciated artists.

Focus is sponsored by Stone Island, whose subsidy, in addition to Frieze’s existing support, enables galleries to participate in the fair and ensures that Focus remains a place to discover new talent.


Programming

Frieze New York 2024 features an extensive program of original commissions, one-off events and creative collaborations, with partners including Performance Space, Arrtists Space, High Line Art and the Rockefeller Center. Explore this year’s performance-themed program here.

Frieze Week New York

Throughout Frieze Week, events and activities will take place across New York art spaces, including the opening of major institutional exhibitions.
